For many people, the essence of being a woman is being able to keep the child and maternity consumed. It is something that only women are capable of doing. And when they are deprived of this quality, it's as if they are not complete as a person. Infertility not only caused by malfunctionin bodies but also by hormonal problems. Which one is the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is also known as hyperandrogenism Functional ovarian syndrome, Stein-Leventhal hyperthecosis ovarian syndrome and polycystic ovaries.

What as polycystic ovary syndrome? One in 10 women suffer from this disease. This affects the menstrual flow, fertility, hormones, heart, blood vessels blood and the appearance of women. Usually women who suffer from this experience, high levels of androgens, the monthly flows irregular and their ovaries have many cysts filled with fluid. From that moment, the exact cause of the disease is still unknown save for the fact that it can be considered as a hereditary disease, because of the strong likelihood that women who have relatives who have suffered from this disease could also have it. The complexity disease also never allowed experts to make definite symptoms for people with this disease. The experts also noted the connection of insulin in triggering the disease, because many women with PCOS have a lot of unused insulin in their body. Insulin is known to stimulate androgen production. This comes into effect in the normal functioning of the female anatomy, such as ovulation, hair growth, weight gain and acne. Women with this illness experience irregular menstrual flow because the bags that the release of mature ova per month during ovulation fails to cause the failure of the agency to provide all the hormones necessary for ovulation. These bags containing eggs remain like that and become cysts which produce androgens (also prevents ovulation). The elusiveness of the disease does not stop there. Experts have still not accurate examination can immediately determine if women have the disease or not. Currently, physicians do a lot of tests to exclude every other symptoms and the disease in May with the same signs. Similarly, there still no cure for this disease. Doctors are just trying to manage so as to cushion the effects of the disease for women. Usually, management involves the use of the contraceptive pill, diabetes, fertility and hormonal drugs, surgery and changing lifestyles. Indeed, the women with this disease who consult a physician / consultation does not receive treatment for the disease, but especially for problems related to the disease.

This disease is still much room for further development and discovery, failure of which may be synonymous with Doom for the thousand women who suffer. As difficult as any other endocrine disease, there is a pressing need for comprehensive understanding of this disease. It is Only by understanding that we can prevent and help relieve the plight of women victims of his.

Polycystic Ovaries!?

Hi, im 16 years old and have been for a scan today because I suffer from a very irregular and the doctor said I could have cysts on my ovaries, I went for my scan today and she told me she looks as if I had polycystic ovaries, is it serious? I am disabled, I suffer from spinal muscular atrophy (muscle wasting condition). After I knew that I had polycystic ovaries neuromuscular my doctor said I would be able to concieve but my pregnancy and childbirth would need additional care, are my chances of conceiving affected due to having PCOS? (not that I want children yet lol). What is the treatment for this condition if there is one? Welcome your responses and advice! Thank you! xx

Do not worry! It is a condition relatively joint can be treated. In addition to irregular cycles, certain other symptoms may include acne, unwanted hair growth, and insulin resistance (a condition where your body does not use insulin more efficiently). Usually they will do is chart your cycles and you put on a hormone pill to regulate them. They also recommend changes in lifestyle such as losing weight and exercise, which contribute to the condition and, in some cases, can eliminate. Women with PCOS are not ovulating regularly, it is more difficult for them to conceive, but not impossible. If you take hormones and they are able to move things regulated, you should be able to be as normal as anyone else in this regard. Good luck!

Many women with polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS, using infusions of nourishing herbs to relieve symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome. Many plants throughout history have been used by traditional cultures to heal and tone the reproductive system of women.

Herbs, mostly brewed as nourishing herbal infusions, provide calcium and other minerals that women need. With a traditional diet, as a high protein / low carbohydrate diet, these plants can feed the reproductive system and restore health. These herbs are rich in calcium, magnesium and other minerals and vitamins that are easy for the body to digest and absorb. Infusions, if taken daily, are better than synthetic multi-vitamins that are difficult for the body to absorb.

Drink a liter a day or more of an infusion based on a plant period of at least a month or more. Good herbs for the reproductive system are red raspberry leaf, red clover blossoms, nettle leaf, Oat straw and leaves of comfrey.

Favorite combinations of women as:

– Leaf raspberry red flowers of red clover.
– Leaf Nettle, comfrey leaf and oat straw mix.
– A mixture of 2 / 3 part of the red raspberry leaf and 1 / 3 Part Classic rose petals and hibiscus. This can cover a certain bitterness that raspberry red tends to have.

To make your infusion set 1 oz weight of the plant or plants in a wide mouth jar of canned food. Cover with boiling water. Stir to ensure that all the leaves are soaked and cap with a lid. Leave your tea set for 3-4 hours on the counter. When ready, stir in a little honey if necessary and drink hot or cold.

What is the best exercise to help me lose weight? I am seventeen and I have PCOS polycystic ovarian syndrome?

I PCOS, food and I go to the gym every day but Im still not losing weight! help!

Many women found that diets carbohydrate work very well for PCOS. It naturally lowers insulin levels, which is a problem for women with PCOS. I have PCOS and I also found that the reduction of gluten from my diet helped me to be less hungry. I would try a combination of both.

Polycystic ovary syndrome natural remedies are not new-age clap trap do with the flow of energy or acupuncture. A natural treatment is PCOS rather a change in lifestyle, eating habits and dealing more directly with the cure the root cause of the condition.

Although some therapies alternatives can help, they are not as necessary is that what you eat and how you live your life everyday!

The alternatives are generally drugs that are usually driven by poorly informed doctors, at the request of the pharmaceutical companies want you to hang on the pills for the rest of your life that you pay again and again and again.

These drugs do not address the fundamental problem with PCOS is insulin resistance however. Once you stop your hormones will go crazy again and you're back to square one. If you stay with the medications you have belongings secondary and often they do not contribute that much anyway!

Would not you prefer to have the underlying issues causing naturally fixed a flow on effect which will reverse the terrible symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome?

If so, here are just a few tips to get started on PCOS natural remedy:

Cut the fruit juice and soda. Both are loaded with sugars that are Spike your insulin levels which causes a hormonal imbalance PCOS.

Cut Where to eat white bread and similar products. These foods have been stripped of nutrients natural that reduce how much more rapidly transformed into glucose in the blood. Dark grainy breads are better alternatives but to the bread is even better than that.

Start to de-stress. Stress plays a huge role in your health, the immune system and hormone levels. Take steps to maintain calm and peace during your day and you can keep a body that regulates more efficiently.

If you want more information on how my sister and I used natural PCOS remedies to treat the condition and ovarian cysts visit our site and take action against this silent plague that is said to affect one in ten women!

PCOS No More

What is the best treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome?

I just received a diagnosis (PCOS) 2 days ago and am not sure what treatment would be best. Also, if you have any further advice or information on the subject please let me know. Thank you advance.

It is difficult to say what is the best treatment for PCOS, because it is a syndrome not a disease … May, which means you have only one or two symptoms or may have them all. Thus, treatment of PCOS is really something specific to each individual case depending on what the symptoms are evident. The pills are not a cure, they inhibit some of the symptoms (usually regulate the menstrual flow), you'll be on them for life that involves many other serious health risks. They can certainly relieve some symptoms temporarily, but they will not help heal the underlying causes, so they only mask the problem, and even the long term, they can do worse! Because they replace some of the missing estrogen hormones, they are not the best solution for treating hormonal imbalance. Following the addition of hormones from the outside, your body will become less responsive to produce estrogen alone. This causes a further decline in hormone levels of the body. Metformin has successfully helped many women, but it is certainly not a panacea or a wonder-pill. It helps regulate your blood sugar which should make it easier to lose weight even without changing your eating habits (if you eat healthy, but already knows unexplained weight gain). Lose weight (even in small quantities) can significantly reduce the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome. What causes the symptoms of PCOS (loss Hair, excessive hairiness, irregular menstruation, infertility, weight gain, extreme mood swings, etc.) is an imbalance hormonal, and even a slight weight loss will greatly help. For PCOSers, diets like the GI (Glycemic Index) Diet, IR (Insulin Resistance) Diet SugarBusters, South Beach, etc. are often extremely useful … more than the typical low calorie diets. Diets like these are important for a SOFC, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT, because they help reduce the risk of insulin resistance and diabetes type II. Obviously it goes without saying that the exercise will be necessary. Herbal remedies can help relieve symptoms, too: For irregular cycles, Vitex (Bay of the chaste tree) can help. For hirsutism (excess facial hair / body), licorice, green tea, spearamint, and palm Saw can slow or stop (but can not get rid of what is already there). To adjust blood sugar, the cinnamon is good. For swings mood, fish oil, tree berry chaste, and evening primrose oil can help. Good luck! There is hope, and many online support and information to the general www.soulcysters.net

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition that affects the menstrual cycle of women and even its ability to bear children. Women with PCOS have missed or irregular periods, small cysts on the ovaries and high levels of male hormones, androgens. Giving attention to food can help relieve the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome and restore the health of the body.

Since PCOS is a metabolic disorder that is resistant to insulin, low carb / high protein diet works well for most women. The overall eating plan recommended for women who have PCOS is:

 • Reduce or eliminate sugar. White sugar wreaks havoc on every system in your body. Dispose of your diet. If you need a little sweetener from time to time, try raw honey, maple syrup or pure raw cane sugar. These sweeteners are still minerals and vitamins that are stripped and bleached white sugar.

 • Low carbohydrate. Try to reduce or eliminate starches and cereals. These foods increase the insulin levels in your body, leading to weight gain and other symptoms of insulin resistance.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrinopathies among women of childbearing age. The problem is hormonal The most common reproductive women of childbearing age. This can affect fertility and pregnancy. It can also cause changes male-type body. Irregular or heavy May signal the condition in adolescence, or polycystic ovarian syndrome appeared later in May, when a woman has difficulty becoming pregnant. Women with PCOS May produce too much insulin, which signals their ovaries to release extra male hormones. It is the most common endocrinopathy among women of childbearing age. Up to 30 per cent of women have some characteristics of the syndrome. A disease polycystic ovary is characterized by enlarged ovaries with multiple small cysts, an abnormally high number of follicles at different stages maturation, and a thick, marked capsule surrounding each ovary. PCOS is also associated with peripheral resistance to insulin and hyperinsulinemia, and obesity amplifies the degree of these abnormalities.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is now recognized as a heterogeneous syndrome. The syndrome was originally reported by Stein and Leventhal in 1935 when they described a group of women with amenorrhea, infertility, hirsutism (unwanted hair growth in women), and enlarged polycystic ovaries. Women with PCOS frequently have a mother or sister with PCOS. But it is not yet enough evidence to say that there is a genetic link to the disorder. Many women with PCOS have a weight problem. While PCOS is not properly untreated, it can put a girl at risk for many problems such as infertility, excessive hair growth, acne, diabetes, heart disease, abnormal bleeding and uterine cancer. Polycystic ovaries are enlarged bilaterally and have a thick smooth capsule that is avascular. On cut sections, subcapsular follicles in various stages of atresia are seen in the peripheral part of the ovary.

Causes of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Common causes and risk factors of polycystic ovarian syndrome are:

Nobody knows the exact cause of this syndrome.

An imbalance in hormones (chemical messengers) into your brain and your ovaries.

The excess fat.

Family history of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Genetics may be a factor.

Symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome

Some signs and symptoms associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome are:

Pelvic pain

Irregular periods.

Male-pattern baldness or thinning hair.

The weight gain, even obesity.

Resistance to insulin and diabetes.

Dark patches of skin on the back of your neck and other areas, called nigricans " acanthosis.

Decrease in breast size.

High blood sugar (hyperglycemia).

Treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome

Here is the list of methods for treating polycystic ovary syndrome:

Weight reduction is associated with normalization of hormonal disturbances and the resumption of regular ovulation. It also has a beneficial impact on the consequences of polycystic ovary syndrome (eg, disease cardiovascular disorders glucose tolerance, hypertension, dyslipidemia).

For women who do not want to be pregnant, birth control pills can regulate menstrual cycles, reduce male hormone levels and help to clear acne.

Cosmetic treatment of hirsutism with electroepilation facial and laser hair removal has also been studied and considered beneficial.

Reproductive Medicine.

The hormonal treatment to suppress ovarian activity is a reasonable choice if the patient does not conceive now, and is Having problems with excessive growth of hair.

Metformin can be taken with fertility medications and helps make women with PCOS ovulate on lower doses of drugs.

If the drugs do not help you become pregnant, your doctor may recommend outpatient surgery called laparoscopic ovarian drilling.

I have polycystic ovarian disease and I want a baby what should I do?

I am 20 and I am a Junior in College I have a polycystic ovarian disease and I want a baby, but my family disagree. disease polycystic ovarian disease is a long life and if I do not choose to have a baby now I might never be able to have a child. I do not want to hurt my family but I feel I must stay true to myself. I was depressed for 2 weeks now and I have my first doctors visit April 7, 2007. I do not want not be put on birth control because it keeps me doing what I want to so badly. Again I wonder Am I ready for a child right now and realize how to have a right of the child may now shock of my future. I am a child development major, I know about babies but I know enough? subjuct this really hit home for me because in the bible it says that women were put on earth to bear children and be a woman who may have children leaves me wondering why am I here? what purpose have I on earth?

Firstly, you need to get advice out of this depression. It will not help you to get pregnant, if you're not even healthy to take care of a child, emotionally and physically. Secondly, I have PCOS as well. You can still get pregnant, there are medications that help with ovulation. You need to mount a good diet to keep your insulin levels and help you lose weight and help with depression. Thirdly, it is more objective than bearing children and apparantely You have not searched the Bible, but we just read the passage. Look in Proverbs, there are numerous references the beauty of women. God created all people and loves everyone, not just men.

What is the cure for polycystic ovarian disease?

In my Oby-NESTI based on her ultrasound ovarian in the left side is not displayed and another .. Polycystic Should I change to have a baby when I got married? My illness will treated?

I have PC-OS (as is well known). I have never ovulated before and have had very irregular periods all my life. PC-OS causes a woman not to ovulate, and the follicles that have become fully grown hardened eggs and sit on the ovaries. The "cyst" as they were called then cause even more difficulties as a result be able to ovulate. A side effect is gaining weight constantly (linked to resistance to insulin) and an excess of male hormones (related to ovulation not I suppose). There is hope in the end tunnel. As I said, I have never ovulated before, but this month for the first time I ovulated naturally. I lost a lot of weight and took the pill for 6 months to try to force my body into a regular cycle. I was at the gyne last Monday for a check up after going off the pill. My left ovarian cyst is full again (I had removed with ovarian drilling last year) and on the right side, he was there, the follicle perfect, waiting to be released. I am now on my two weeks waiting to hear if I got pregnant. Thus, it can be done, but id is often a little grief and pain before the miracle of pregnancy!
