I had it removed because my doctor said it could rupture. The doctor also said it is common practice to just snip the tube which would have left me with one functioning tube. When I had the cyst removed I had a surgeon that specializes in tubal reverasals (he reverses when women have their tubes tied) do the surgery. After I went to the follow up and had dye ran through my tubes and they are both perfect. The cyst grew as the babies did and was dangerous because the female hormones fed it. As soon as she gave birth it shrunk back down to the size of a walnut.
