Complex ovarian cysts are there alternatives to surgical removal?

I did some reading on ovarian cysts, and the answer keeps coming back to the complex cyst is surgical removal, usually by laparoscopy. This is done because of concerns about ovarian cancer. But the options are not available there any other? And they know how a cyst should be removed, especially if it is multi-compartmentalized?

I had a number of complex ovarian cysts that caused me much pain, once with a cyst 7.7cm they decided surgery (laparoscopy) to remove the cyst, but before reaching hitherto my cyst ruptured and I had surgery Emergency (laparoscopy). In April this year, I had another complex ovarian cyst was 4.6cm, but my doctor and my gynecologist recommended going on the pill to see if it would resolve on its own and if not they would do another laparoscopy to remove it. The last scan that I had said that the cyst had continued to grow and was 5.1cm, but a week later he was again broken, even if I did not need of emergency surgery again. I guess it depends on the type of cyst, size and whether or not it causes pain. Most cysts I had caused me pain, but some of them were only about 3.5cm (which my doctor told me not of sufficient size to work really), they must usually wait a cycle or two to see if they disappear by themselves as they usually do more often (go away on their own). I hope this answer helped you question. If you have questions regarding cyst ovarian, please feel free to email me at any moment (link to my email is in my profile). Good luck:)
